Hi, I’m Danielle! I am a Registered Social Worker with a passion for dogs, pizza and therapy that empowers clients to find the adventure in every day.
I hold a Master of Social Work, Clinical Specialization from the University of Calgary (2022), a Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from the University of Calgary (2018), and a Bachelor of Art in History from McGill University (2013).
Originally from Toronto, I have called Calgary home for the last 10 years. In that time, I quickly fell in love with the rugged landscapes of the Rocky Mountains and honed my passion for nature and exploration that had been growing since childhood. I bring this adventurous spirit to the therapeutic relationship by taking a curious, open-minded, and playful approach to therapy. I am an LGBTQ+ therapist who welcomes and respects individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
I am continuously developing my clinical skills through trainings in approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy (EFiT), Circle of Security™ Parenting (COSP), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and more. You will also often find me diving into a good book or podcast to expand my understanding of client experience and compliment my clinical trainings.
I have experience and interest supporting neurodiverse individuals, the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, women’s mental health, and providing attachment-based parenting support. I also enjoy providing compassionate support to other helping professionals as they navigate the balance between helping others and caring for themselves.
